Croatian Open 2017 ponudio nam je jedan od najboljih setova koje smo ikad imali prilike igrati i pohvale autorima, Kiri i Lugomeru, su dolazile sa svih strana. Prekrasna je ovo bila uvertira za Europsko prvenstvo sljedeći vikend.
Prosječna je riješenost 38,81%, pri čemu je kategorija povijest bila najlakša s 14,24 bodova, a popularna umjetnost najteža s 10,15 bodova. Sudjelovala su 164 natjecatelja, što je najviše natjecatelja do sad na našem Openu, a od toga točno polovica hrvatskih kvizaša.
Dorjana Širola pobijedila je s 5 bodova prednosti ispred najjačeg norveškog kvizaša, Thomasa Kolåsætera i 6 ispred Perice Živanovića – Kuma. Ovdje zbog preglednosti imamo samo poredak prvih 10, a kompletna fancy rang lista s puno boja i grafikom država sudionica dostupna je ovdje: LINK
Vrijedi spomenuti i najbolje rezultate ostvarene u kategorijama, a to su 26 bodova Kuma u znanosti i 26 bodova Milijića na visokoj umjetnosti. Neven Trgovec iako "tek" 33. ukupno, u sportu je ostvario 25 bodova, isti rezultat kao i aktualni olimpijski pobjednik u toj kategoriji, Igor Habal.

Croatian Open 2017 has offered us one of the best sets we’ve ever played and praises for the authors, Kira and Lugomer, are coming from all sides. This was a wonderful overture for the European Championships next weekend.
The average answer percentage is 38.81%, with the category history being the easiest with 14.24 points, and popular arts the hardest with 10.15 points. 164 contestants participated, which is the highest number of contestants up to now in our Open, and half of them are Croatian quizzers.
Dorjana Širola won with 5 points ahead of the strongest Norwegian quizzer, Thomas Kolåsæter and 6 ahead of Perica Živanović – Kum. It is worth mentioning the best results achieved in the categories, which are 26 points of Kum in science and 26 points of Milijić in fine arts. Neven Trgovec although "only" 33rd in total, scored 25 points in sports, the same result as the current Olympic winner in that category, Igor Habal.
